The Chronos Village

Time-Travel Exploration Game (In Development)

Overview

The Chronos Village is an ongoing Unity project that builds on my interest in creating interactive environments and meaningful player experiences. The game begins in a central village that acts as a hub, where the player can explore freely and interact with different elements.

From this village, the player can travel through portals to different historical time periods, including Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Byzantine Empire, and the Industrial European era. Each location is designed to feel distinct, encouraging exploration and allowing users to experience different environments within one connected system.

The main idea behind this project is to make learning history more engaging and accessible. I wanted to create something that could be used by schools, museums, or even parents, where users can explore historical settings at their own pace in a more interactive and enjoyable way.

This project has helped me think more deeply about level design, especially how a central hub can guide users without restricting them, and how transitions between environments can shape the overall experience.

It is still in development, and I continue to expand both the environments and the interactive elements as I improve my skills.

Tools used: Unity, C#

Assets: Unity Asset Store

Focus: Level design, world-building, interaction, educational design, environment transitions

Outcome: Built a scalable historical hub prototype that demonstrates strong environment transition planning.

Tomis Museum

Interactive Museum Experience (Unity)

Overview

Tomis Museum was my first game project, created in Unity, and it marked the beginning of my interest in game development and level design. The project is based around a small museum-like building that the user can freely explore.

Inside the space, the player can interact with different objects and statues, each providing descriptive information. I wanted the experience to feel natural and exploratory, allowing users to move through the environment at their own pace.

Through this project, I started to understand how important space and layout are in shaping user experience. Even in a small environment, I experimented with how positioning objects and structuring the space can influence how users explore and interact.

Although it was a simple project, it was an important step for me, as it introduced me to the fundamentals of Unity, interaction design, and environment creation.

Tools used: Unity

Focus: Level design, interaction, user experience

Outcome: Established a solid foundation in interactive space design and player guidance within compact environments.

Motion Design & Animation Experiments

Video Editing & Animation (After Effects)

Overview

This collection of projects showcases my ongoing exploration of motion design and animation using Adobe After Effects. Through these videos, I experiment with different styles, effects, and editing techniques to better understand how motion can be used to communicate ideas and create engaging visual experiences.

While these projects are still part of my learning process, they reflect my growing interest in animation and my willingness to explore and improve. Each piece allowed me to experiment with timing, transitions, and composition, as well as how movement and visual effects can guide the viewer’s attention.

These works represent an important step in developing my creative and technical skills, and they highlight my interest in expanding into animation and motion design in the future.

Tools used: Adobe After Effects

Outcome: Improved motion storytelling fundamentals through consistent practice in timing, rhythm, and composition.
